STUDIOS

ISW Studios is in the heart of the US Virgin Islands on the island of St. Thomas. Our new facility was “purpose built” from the ground up. No expense was spared. With 25 rooms in Phase 1, we have put together a creative haven of over 5500 square feet.

All of the audio rooms have been acoustically designed and built, utilizing the most up to date networking and audio/video capabilities. All rooms throughout the facility have two way video and audio switching offering the ability to shoot multi-camera music videos during recording sessions.

Studio “A” features an analog Harrison Series 12 console, 48 tracks of Nyquist Radar and a collection of pro outboard gear to satisfy the worst case of gear lust! Visual contact from Studio A to the Iso Vocal Booth, through to the Percussion Room, and then through to the Live Room makes tracking a breeze.  Studio A is available as both a tracking room and/or mixing room, with or without engineer.

Our Percussion Room features a fully floated floor, cathedral ceiling and rock wall. Our 20 X 30 Live Room has a pine ceiling rising from 10 feet to 14 feet, and features a beautiful Yamaha C7 Grand Piano.

Studio B is primarily a digital studio. Running a MAC Pro and Protools HD3, this room has its own Iso Vocal Booth, and as well has visual connection and record abilities with both the Live Room and Percussion Room.

Two Midi Production rooms are equipped with most audio software programs and are available as either “Do-it-yourself” rooms or with an Engineer or Producer. These rooms include studio monitors, keyboard/controllers and an assortment of sound modules. Vocal tracking is also available from MIDI Production Room “1”.

Our Audio intranet allows us to move audio files between all of the recording rooms with ease. It is possible for both Studio “A” and “B” and or either of the Midi Production rooms to be working on different parts of the same project at the same time – talk about efficient!
